This season, the ripped skinny jean look seems to be popular. Buying jeans with pre-made holes is pretty expensive, so I posted how to create the ripped jean look on your own jeans!
Materials: sand paper, scissors, cheese grater
It is important to practice on a pair of old jeans you don't need!
1. Rub the sand paper or cheese grater on the spot where you would like the rip/fade. Place your hand inside to keep the jeans steady. If you want a rip, use a grittier sand paper. If you just want the faded look, use a less gritty one.
2. To create large holes (though this may not work on all jeans) cut a slit where you want the hole to be, and rip it a little larger. Then, run a scissor blade around the hole.
3.Then, take a spray bottle and fill it with bleach. Spray it on your jeans.
4. Wash your jeans, then wear!
